A container for different request types. Allows us to treat different request types generalized Thus, we don't have to care if we handle multipart request (file upload) or standard requests.

Constructor Detail

GeneralizedRequest

public GeneralizedRequest(HttpServletRequest request)

Constructs a new generalized request. Most important is the fact that getParameter() works in the same manner in both cases: multipart and standard form. Parses parameters and file parts and buffers the file content if the content type is multipart.

Parameters:

request - the standard HttpServletRequest

getMultipartRequest

public MustMultipartRequest getMultipartRequest()

Returns the multipart request if it is one. Else returns null.

Returns:

the multipart request

getParameter

public java.lang.String getParameter(java.lang.String name)

Returns the parameter value of the parameter name as specified. This is done no matter if the request is multipart or standard.

Parameters:

name - the name of the parameter to read

Returns:

the parameter value

getInputStream

public java.io.InputStream getInputStream(java.lang.String name)

getMethod

public java.lang.String getMethod()

Returns the request method.

the method
